“My name is Ayanda Gumede, and I am the founder of Ayanda I Am Art Gallery. This gallery is more than just a space for art, it’s a reflection of my journey, my passion, and my commitment to making a difference. As someone who has spent over 15 years in the art world, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of creativity. I’ve also seen the challenges that artists face and the barriers that prevent many people from experiencing the joy of art. Through this gallery, I hope to break down those barriers and create a space where art is accessible to everyone. I also hope to use art as a force for good, whether it’s by empowering artists, supporting children with disabilities, or inspiring people to see the world in a new way.
