Mozambican-born, self-taught artist has lived in Johannesburg since 1988. What inspired him to become an artist? He grew up without art in his parents’ house; he could only see artworks from other people’s houses. At ya oung age, on his way to school,l he used to pass through the house of one of Mozambican well known artist ( Malangatane Ngwenha), which is where he got inspired most. He uses mixed media with pallet knife and a brush on canvas. He works in a very peaceful and lovely art studio in Johannesburg, South Africa. After many years in art,t he tries many art techniques using oil and acrylic.
